Tara Brown, owner of Phases Doula & Massage, is a Licensed Massage Therapist, professionally trained BEST Certified Doula, and Usui Reiki Master with a specialization in headache and migraine relief. Before becoming a massage therapist in 2015, Tara began her healthcare journey working as a Certified Nursing Assistant for 12 years. Between working as a Certified Nursing Assistant, she also worked as a nanny and daycare assistant, but eventually switched gears in 2014 to focus on the holistic side of healing and began massage therapy school. With combined techniques of relaxation, myofascial release, acupressure, and stretching, Tara has helped countless clients with their muscle tension and restrictions. She is trained in aromatherapy and is prenatal and hot stone certified.
Tara’s experience in the healthcare and childcare fields have led her to where she is today in also becoming a birth and postpartum doula. Tara’s second passion lies in supporting others and their families, who are bringing new life into this world. Tara believes in the importance of evidence-based care and holistic methods of support for her clients.
Tara currently resides in Versailles, KY serving Versailles, Lexington, and surrounding areas.
